CAUTION!
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:

• Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.

• Switch the ignition off.

• Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.

• After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Repair Information and/or Owner's Manual.

• Steps after reconnecting voltage supply => Battery.

1 Housing

• Aligning to vehicle contour => [ Rear Lamp, Aligning ]

2 Retaining bolts

3 Bulb for turn signal

• 12 V, 21 W

• Orange

4 Light bulbs for fog lamps

• 12 V, 21 W

5 Light bulb for rear lamp

• 12 V, 5 W

6 Light bulb socket

7 Bulb for brake lamp/backup lamp

• 12 V, 21/4 W

8 Bulb for back-up lamps

• 12 V, 21 W

9 Bolt - 6 Nm

10 Nut -12 Nm

11 Retainer piece

• Replace if seal is damaged

12 Adjustment nut

Rear Lamp, Aligning

• Tail lamp removed => [ Rear Lamp and Bulb Carrier ] Rear Lamps.

- Change position of adjusting elements in steps with tail lamp removed.

- Install again each time as an adjustment check of the Tail lamp.







1. Interior adjustment in longitudinal direction

2. Adjustment perpendicular to direction of travel

(for this, loosen nut - 3 -)

4 Upper adjustment in longitudinal direction
5 Lower adjustment in longitudinal direction

- Reinstall => [ Rear Lamp and Bulb Carrier ] Rear Lamps.

Tightening Specifications
