CAN-Bus Wires Repair Information

• Use an unshielded two-wire line - 1 - and - 2 - (cross-section 0.35 mm2 or 0.5 mm2) as CAN-Bus bus wire.





• color coding of CAN-Bus bus wires:





• Only use yellow wires for repairs to wiring. Mark location of repair with yellow insulating tape.

• Both bus wires must be of the same length when repairing. When twisting the wires - 1 - and - 2 -, length of twist - A - = 20 mm must be attained.

• When making repairs, there must be no untwisted section of wire which is longer than - B - = 50 mm, e.g. in the vicinity of heat-shrink sleeves - arrow -.
