Sunlight Photo Sensor (G107)

The Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head and the sunlight photo sensor (G107) are available in various versions. Therefore follow the assignment exactly when replacing an A/C control head.

Starting with VIN "400000" of model year 2005 (Sedan and Avant) and "012913" of model year 2005 (Cabrio), a modified sunlight photo sensor (G107) and a modified Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head are installed. Only the sunlight photo sensor (G107) with part number 8E0 907 539 may be installed for the Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head with a part number up to index "AH". Only the sunlight photo sensor (G107) with part number 8P0 907 539 may be installed for the Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head with a part number from index "AJ".

If the assignment between the sunlight photo sensor (G107) and the Climatronic control module ( J255) A/C control head is incorrect, the Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head cannot evaluate the signal from the sunlight photo sensor (G107) and the A/C system control will malfunction.
