Relay and Fuse Panels
CAUTION!
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:
• Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.
• Switch the ignition off.
• Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.
• After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Repair Information and/or Owner's Manual.
• Steps after reconnecting voltage supply => Battery.
4-Way Relay Carrier
Removing
- Remove driver's storage compartment.
- Remove bolts - 1 - for fuse box - 2 -.
- Remove fuse box from center tube for instrument panel.
- Detach wiring harness on center tube for instrument panel and set aside.
- Remove relay or control modules from 4-way relay carrier.
- Mark cables at screw connections - 2 -, - 3 - and - 5 -.
- Remove cables from screw connections.
- Remove bolt - 1 - and nut - 4 -.
- Unclip fuse carrier at 4-way relay carrier.
- Remove relays, control modules, and then unclip respective relay carrier.
• Check the exact assignment of 4-way relay carrier in the current wiring diagram.

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:
- Attach cables to screw connections - 2 -, - 3 - and - 5 - according to markings.
