Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface

Removing
- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions".
- Select the function or path:







- Follow further instructions on display of VAS 5051B .
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Remove driver storage compartment







- Remove the screw - arrow - and then remove the air guide - 1 -.







- Release retaining clips - 1 - and - 6 - by pressing them together - arrows -.
- Disengage retaining tab - 2 - on bracket - 3 -.
- Disconnect the connector - 4 - and remove the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface J533 - item 5 -.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
If the data bus on board diagnostic interface J533 was replace, it must be coded .
- Select the function or path:







- Follow further instructions on display of VAS 5051B .
- Install air duct .
- Install driver storage compartment.
