AFFECTED VEHICLES





CONDITION

^ Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may be illuminated.

^ DTC P1388 17796 (Internal Control Module drive by wire error) is stored in the ECM data memory.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

Improved software for the Engine Control Module.

SERVICE

1. For LEV 1 vehicles, write down the long coding.

Tip: The flash process will delete all codings.

2. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.





3. Update the ECM using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.





4. IMPORTANT: After performing the flash, manually enter the long coding you wrote down earlier. Accept Byte 3's change from 06 to 09.
