Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, reading - 01J, Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)

- Connect VAS 5051 Vehicle Diagnosis, Measurement and Information System. In selection touch vehicle system "02 Transmission Electronics". Ignition must be switched on.





Display on VAS 5051

- In selection - 1 - touch diagnostic function "02 Read DTC memory".





Display on VAS 5051:

1 - Contents of the DTC memory:

^ 0 DTC detected

or

^ X DTCs detected

2 - DTC

^ DTC
^ Location of DTC
^ Type of DTC

A - If DTCs were recognized:

- Print out contents of screen or OBD protocol.
- End function "02 Read DTC memory" by touching < button.





Display on VAS 5051

- Repair malfunction(s) using DTC Chart.
- In selection touch diagnostic function "02 Read DTC memory" again and delete DTC memory.
- Touch "06 End output".

B - If no DTC was detected:

- Touch "06 End output".
