Generator, Testing

- Test generator using Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing & info. System (VAS 5051B) (or other VAS 505X class tester) in operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".

- Connect tester => [ Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B, Connecting ] Description and Operation

After tester has established communication with vehicle and interrogated all vehicle systems

- Select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding"

- Press Go to button

- Select "Function / Component Selection"

- Select "Electrical equipment (Rep. Gr.01; 27; 90-97"

- Select "27 - Battery, Starter, Generator, Cruise Control"

- Select "Electrical components"

- Select "C - Generator (GEN), testing (RG 27)"

- Follow testers prompts
