Affected Vehicles

Condition

^ The outside temperature display indicates rising outside temperatures very slowly.

^ When driving in town, the correct temperature is shown only after a very long journey.

^ Instrument clusters with software version 0860 (A3) and 0360 (TT) are affected.

Technical Background

Incorrect software.

Production Solution

New software in the instrument cluster (J285) addressed the condition.

Service

1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.





2. Update the instrument cluster (J285) using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.
