Power Seat Control Module: Service and Repair






Front Seat Memory Program Control Head

Removing





- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove front door trim.

- Detach insulating mat from door trim.

- Remove bolts - arrows - and remove speaker trim.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.





- Remove bolts - arrows - and detach storage compartment from door trim.

- Use Allen wrench to remove pin - 1 - for actuating storage compartment catch and pin - 2 - for stop.





- Repeat procedure on other side of storage compartment.

- Open storage compartment.

- Remove switch cover panel - 1 - - arrows -.





- Lift rear of switch - arrow 1 - and detach towards inside of storage compartment - arrow 2 -.





- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.





- Carefully release catches - arrows - using a small screwdriver.

- Remove memory seat control unit - 2 - downward from switch mount.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Press memory seat control unit into switch mount until retaining hooks engage.

- Install front door trim.
