High Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair






Refrigerant Circuit

High Pressure Sensor

- Remove the radiator grille.

- Disconnect connector - A -.





- Remove the High Pressure Sensor (G65) - B - (tightening specification: 5 Nm).

- Replace O-ring-seal - C - (10.8 mm, 1.8 mm). Refer to=> [ Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals ] Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals.

Cooling performance cannot be checked with High Pressure Sensor (G65) removed, front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) does not switch on the compressor.

There are different versions of the High Pressure Sensor (G65) different signals so make sure the allocation is correct. .

Refrigerant circuit remains closed connection with valve.

Lubricate O-ring seal lightly with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to => [ Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals ] Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals.
