Seat Rail Spindle Cover

• The removal and installation procedure is described on the basis of the driver seat sill side seat rail. For the sake of clarity, the figure does not show the surrounding area.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing






Proceed as follows:

- Bring headrest into lowest lock position.

- Move seat as far back and up as possible.

- Pry the spindle cover - 1 - from the seat rail cover - 2 - and seat forward/back adjustment spindle using the trim removal wedge (3409).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Make sure the spindle cover is engaged correctly.
