• Upholstery Clip Pliers (V.A.G 1634)

Removing






- Remove cover with upholstery. Refer to => [ Bench Seat without Center Storage Compartment, Cover and Padding ] Bench Seat Without Center Storage Compartment, Cover and Padding.

- Remove the cover - 1 - from the upholstery - 3 - as far as possible.

- Unclip retaining channel - 4 - from clips - 2 -.

Versions with Fabric Covers:






- Remove contour wire - 3 - that is inserted into pocket - 4 - in cover - 5 - from clips - 2 -.

- Remove the cover from the cushion - 1 -.

Versions with Leather Covers:






- Cut through the upholstery clips - 3 - using pliers - 4 -.

- Remove the cover - 2 - from cushion - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- When installing new upholstery clips with leather covers, use upholstery clip pliers (V.A.G 1634).
