Exterior Mirror Turn Signal Lamps, from 06.09

Removing





- Remove the mirror glass.

To protect the paint in the area around the mirror housing, tape it off with a soft cloth.

- Remove the screws - 4 - and - 5 -.

- Open the clips - 2 - and remove the exterior mirror housing - 3 - from the cover - 1 - - arrows -.

- On vehicles with lane change assist, pull the exterior mirror housing - 1 - just far enough until the connector is visible.





- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - for the lane change assist warning lamp on the front side of the mirror adjusting unit mount - 3 -.

- Pull the exterior mirror housing - 2 - upward and disconnect the connector - 3 -.





- Remove screws - 1 - and - 4 -.

- Tilt the turn signal housing - 5 - out of the exterior rearview mirror housing - arrow -.

Installing





Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exterior Rearview Mirror Turn Signals Assembly Overview, from 06.09 ] Exterior Rearview Mirror Turn Signals Assembly Overview, From 06.09.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

The entire exterior mirror turn signal must be replaced if an LED is faulty.

- Insert the tip of the turn signal - 3 - into the opening in the exterior mirror housing - 4 - - arrow -.

- Place the turn signal bulb housing - 2 - into the outside mirror housing; make sure the groove fits into the guide - 1 -.

- Install the exterior rearview mirror housing.
