Service the clutch module - 2 -.






A - Alignment Pins

Not equipped for all vehicles; completely omitted from approximately September 2007

The alignment pins - A - (if equipped) must lock in the hole - B - when attaching the clutch module - 2 - to the drive plate - 1 -.

B - Alignment Bore

The alignment pins - A - (if equipped) must lock in the hole - B - when attaching the clutch module - 2 - to the drive plate - 1 -.


The clutch will not function properly if it is not installed correctly.

The clutch may have noticeable function problems if the alignment pins for the drive plate - A - are not inside the hole in the clutch module - B -.

1 - Drive Plate

On 4-cylinder engines - 3 holes with threaded sleeves

With 6- and 8-cylinder engines - 6 holes with threaded sleeves

With needle bearing

2 - Clutch Module

With transfer plate

Components: dual mass flywheel, clutch plate and clutch pressure plate

3 - Bolt

60 Nm

For mounting the dual flywheel to the drive plate

Quantity: three on a 4-cylinder engine

Quantity: 6 with 6- and 8-cylinder engines

Always replace.
