Fuel Level Sensor (G), Connector Assignment

The Fuel Level Sensor is located under the right side of the rear seat bench.






Procedure

- Remove rear seat bench.

- Unclip right locking flange cover retaining tabs - arrows -.

- Disconnect electrical connector - arrow - on locking flange.






Terminal assignment of the 5-pin harness connector at Fuel Level Sensor (G)






1. Transfer Fuel Pump (FP) (G6) switched positive

2. Fuel Level Sensor (G) ground (sensor ground)

3. Wire connection from Fuel Level Sensor -G- (G) to instrument cluster (fuel gauge)

4. Tank sensor total resistance

5. Transfer Fuel Pump (FP) (G6) ground


• On vehicles with 2.0L TFSI engine, pins - 2, 3, 4 - are looped through Fuel Pump (FP) Control Module (J538).
