Main Fuse Box In Right Rear Of Luggage Compartment On Battery

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing






- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (ND) wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Loosen nut - 1 - several rotations.

- Release retaining spring - 3 - and open lid - 2 - over main fuse box - arrow -.

- Disconnect electrical wires - 1, 5, 6, 7 and 8 -.






- Remove positive wire terminal clamp with main fuse box from battery.

- Remove nuts - arrows -.

- Remove the battery interrupt igniter (N253) - item 9 -. Refer to Airbag, Servicing in Removal and Installation.

- Remove main fuse box - 4 -.

• Ignore - item 2 - and - item 3 -.

• Check the exact main fuse box assignment in the current wiring diagram.

Installing

• Tightening specification => [ Tightening specification ] [1][2]Diagrams.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Connect battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
