Engine Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Speed (RPM) Sensor (G28)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Socket Wrench 4 mm (T10370)

• Assembly Tool (T10118)

Removing

- Remove the noise insulation - 1 -.






- Remove the oil filter bracket.






- Disconnect the connector on the RPM) sensor - arrow - using (T10118).

• To release the connector without the (T10118) , push the connector against the RPM sensor and simultaneously lift up on the release tab with a thin wire hook.

- Remove the bolt - 2 - for the RPM sensor - 1 - using a (T10370).






Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

- Install the oil filter bracket.
