Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Brake Filler/Bleeder Unit (VAS 5234)

Removing

The brake pressure sensor 1 is integrated into the ABS hydraulic unit (N55).

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, with special attention to the following:

- Bleed the brake system.

- Bleed the clutch hydraulic system.

- Initiate the calibration of the sensor - 1 - for brake pressure sensor 1.

- Perform the ESP driving and system tests.

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051 B) or (VAS 5052).

- Connect the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051 B) or (VAS 5052) and select a function.

- Under chassis

- Brake system (Repair Group 01; 45)

- 01- On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

- 03- Brake electronics ABS/ESP Mark 60

- J104- ABS/ASR/ESP Control Module, Functions

- Calibrate brake pressure sensor 1
