Comfort System Central Control Module (J393)

- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removal






- Remove the right luggage compartment trim panel.

- Remove the nuts - arrows - and the frame - 1 - with the central control module.

- Disconnect the connectors - 2 and 4 -.

- Carefully pull the fuse - 7 - and disconnect the antenna connector - 8 -.

- Disconnect the connectors - 3, 5 and 6 -.

- To disconnect electrical connector, press catch - 1 -, turn retaining bracket in - direction of arrow - and remove connector.






- Release the tabs - arrows A - and remove the comfort system central control module - 1 - from the frame - 2 - - B -.






Installation

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Relay and Fuse Carrier and Control Modules Overview ] Luggage Compartment Relay and Fuse Carrier and Control Modules Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the luggage compartment right side trim panel.
