Drive Plate with Overload Protection

Removing






- Remove the A/C compressor. Refer to => [ A/C Compressor ] A/C Compressor.

- Counterhold the drive plate - C - with a commercially available strap wrench (with electrical tape) to remove the bolts - A -.

Installing

Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:


- Position the drive plate with the overload protection - B - onto drive plate.

- Insert the bolts and tighten them until they are flush by hand.

- Inspect the drive plate run-out. Refer to => [ A/C Compressor Drive Plate with Overload Protection, Checking Run-Out and Adjusting ] A/C Compressor Drive Plate With Overload Protection, Checking Run-Out and Adjusting.

- Tighten the bolts.

- Inspect the drive plate run-out again.
