Removing






- Remove the rear engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Covers ] Service and Repair.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 -.

- Remove the bolts - 5 and 6 -.

- Remove the by bypass connection - 1 - with the adapter (intermediate flange) - 2 - and control valve control unit - 4 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification, refer to => [ - Tightening Specification and Sequence ] Service and Repair.

Replace the O-rings.

If a new control valve control unit was installed:

- Erase the adaptation values and then adapt the Engine Control Module (ECM) (J623) to the control valve control unit. Use a Vehicle Diagnosis Tester.
