AWD Control Module

AWD Control Module

• All Wheel Drive (AWD) control module (J492) locations - item 1 - => [ (Item 1) ] Rear Final Drive 0BF and 0BE (0B4A,0B2A,0B6A,0B5A,0BKA,0BLA,0BFH,0BEH Transmission).

• The description for removing and installing is based on the Audi A4 Sedan.

• Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the luggage compartment floor covering.

- Remove the cover and vehicle tools bracket.

- Unclip the AWD control module - A - from its mount - C -.






- Disconnect the connector - B - from the AWD control module.

- Install the AWD control module in reverse order of removal.

• Additional work will be necessary if the AWD control module was replaced. Refer to => [ AWD Control Module, Additional Work after Replacing ] AWD Control Module, Additional Work after Replacing.
