Front Suspension






Subframe Heat Shield

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)

• Ratchet (V.A.G 1410/3)

Removing

- Remove noise insulation..

- Free up the lower section of the wheel housing liner upward.

- If equipped, remove the bolt - 1 -, loosen the bolt - 2 - and move the brace - 3 - to the side.






- Remove the bolts - arrows -.






- Remove the heat shield forward between the body and the subframe.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
