Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533)

• The Data bus on board diagnostic interface interlinks the different CAN bus systems in the vehicle.

• It transmits data from, for example, the engine control module (drivetrain CAN bus) to the instrument cluster (instrument cluster CAN bus).

• Fault finding is done in Guided Fault Finding using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

• Repairing CAN Bus lines.
