Memory Positioning Switch: Service and Repair

Memory Seat Control Heads (E97)/(E277)

Removing






- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove front door trim..

- Disconnect electrical connectors - 1, 2, 3 -.

- Remove screws - arrows - and remove inside door release mechanism from door trim.

- Press retaining clips to side - arrow - and remove memory seat control head - 2 - from inside door release mechanism - 1 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Insert seat memory control head into inside door release mechanism until retaining clips engage.

- Insert inside door release mechanism and tighten screws.

- Install front door trim.
