Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519)

- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" of the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing & Information System (VAS5051B).

Removing






- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove driver's side upper instrument panel cover.

- Remove nuts - arrows - and remove vehicle electrical system control module - item 4 -.

- Unclip the fuse panel, if equipped.

- Release securing bracket at connector - item 1 - and remove it.

- Disconnect the connectors - 2 - and - 3 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- The new vehicle electrical system control module must be coded in "Guided Fault Finding" or in "Guided Functions" using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing & Information System (VAS5051B).

- Install driver's side upper instrument panel cover.
