Precautions

1. Measurements are taken at the disconnected plug of the electronic control unit unless otherwise noted.
2. Components must be at room temperature , 23 ± 5°C (73 ± 9°F), as this will affect test values.
3. Battery must be fully charged (11.5 VDC minimum).
4. When conducting tests, inspect the terminals for:
a. Bent terminal connectors
b. Corrosion
c. Cracked terminal holders
d. Weak or missing retaining clips
