Situation:
The spark plug application chart includes spark plug manufacturer and plug designation for all BMW models which should be used whenever a spark plug replacement becomes necessary.

^ A mix of platform tri-electrode spark plugs and dual electrode spark plugs and/or different manufacturer spark plugs, i.e., Bosch/NGK should never be installed on one engine.

^ Spark plugs must always be torqued to the proper specifications as outlined on the chart.
