Fault Display
Activation of the fault display is switched by the control unit at Pin 33. Normally (engine running, no fault), the level is referred to ground. If there is a break or a short to positive on the corresponding wire, the error message (transmission) is output by the instrument cluster as of an engine speed greater than 500 rpm or the fault indicator lights.
