SUBJECT: Ignition Coil Replacement
MODELS: All with M1.1 and M1.2 DME Fuel Injection Systems
Situation: Failure of the DME ignition final stage may cause over-heating damage to the ignition coil(s).
Remedy: Should replacement of the DME Control Unit become necessary due to ignition final stage failure, replace the corresponding ignition coil(s) as well.
Warranty Covered under the terms of the BMW Emissions-Related Defect Warranty of
