SUBJECT:
DME Testing with BMW Diagnostic Module
MODELS:
All with M1.3 Series DME
SITUATION:
Testing the above DME series using the 3.0 diskette may produce erroneous readings in the following:
^ Engine Speed
^ Ignition Timing BTDC
^ Load Signal tL
SOLUTION:
Perform the DME testing with the new 5.0 diskette. The 5.0 diskette will be shipped to all BMW dealers in the near future.
