General
Information:
E32 and E34 vehicles produced 9/91 and later use an Instrument Cluster Coding Plug that is encoded by means of the 48-digit central coding key.

The ordering procedure for an Instrument Cluster Coding Plug is as follows:

- Vehicles produced prior to 9/91.

- Ordering procedure is unchanged. The part numbers and code numbers for all models may be found in Parts Bulletin # 11-25, dated 1/91.

- Vehicles produced 9/91 and later (MY 92):

Until MoDiC coding diskette V5.01 is available, order the coding plug (P/N 62 11 8 359 369), specifying the vehicle's 48-digit central coding key. This order must be sent via rapifax to the Direct Shipment Coordinator, with the complete 48-digit code on the order form.

Once MoDiC coding diskette V5.01 is available, order the coding plug for "coding with MoDiC" (P/N 62 11 8 359 368) and perform coding with MoDiC.
