*** B. M50 (NON-VANOS) DME EPROM REPLACEMENT AND PROGRAMMING TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE

Control modules should no longer be replaced for the primary purpose of completing the Service Action. The information provided should help you to obtain a determination and program the new EPROM. If after using this information you are not able to complete the Service Action, a decision on replacing the DME may still need to be made by Service Engineering.





1. If the following chassis numbers are displayed on the MoDiC screen during the "Automatic" determination phase follow the steps indicated.





2. If the following statement is displayed on the MoDiC screen during "Automatic" determination phase, follow the steps indicated:
