Correction:
When an affected vehicle is next in the workshop perform a data update using the latest MoDiC software version currently available.

1. Prior to starting the programming update, check for and correct existing DME faults. Once all faults have been corrected and cleared, the update can be performed.

- If fault code 13 is present, replace the oxygen sensor and claim using regular warranty procedures. A diagnostic printout must accompany all parts sent to the WPRC.

2. Follow the procedure indicated if the information displayed on the DME identification screen of the DIS or MoDIC matches the following:

Bosch Hardware Number 0 261 200 413

3. For reliable cold start performance it is also essential that the correct spark plugs are installed.

Refer to S.I. 12 03 85 (1085) for spark plug application.

4. Always ensure that an approved engine oil with a viscosity matching the ambient operating temperature range of the vehicle is used.

Refer to S.I. 11 08 94 (4139) for recommended oil viscosities and the operating fluids manual for approved engine oils.
