Installing Exchange Transmission

Note: Removing transmission, refer to Removal and Installation. Removing and Installing Automatic Transmission





Caution: Always clean oil cooler and pipes with compressed air and flush twice with ATF before installing an exchange transmission.

Transmission identification/code on data plate or label. Transfer transport holder (1).





Transfer lever (2) and bracket (3).
Transfer rubber mounts and exhaust bracket.





Transfer oil filler pipe.
Unscrew bolts.





Pull out filler pipe out of case.
Installation note: Check sealing plug (4), replacing if necessary.

Caution: Automatic transmission are supplied filled with ATF. Consequently only check ATF level after installation of transmission.
