1 Voltmeter
2 Power distribution box (fuse)
3 Switch for reversing light
4 Rear light

Measuring instrument: Voltmeter

Wires, connectors and switches are designed to conduct current with a minimum voltage drop.

Important: A voltage drop of more than 1 Volt indicates a problem!

Test Procedure:

To test for voltage drop, connect the voltmeter leads to connectors at either end of the circuit section to be tested. The positive lead of the voltmeter should be connected to the end closest to the power supply. Any switch in the circuit should be ON during this test. The voltmeter will indicate the voltage drop.
