IHKR E36 CONTROL MODULE







Unlike IHKR E34 control modules, the IHKR E36 module does not mount ahead of the housing assembly
Instead, the module is located inside the forward portion of the console, below the cigarette lighter socket.
The E36 module is physically smaller than the E34 version, but has the same three (3) twenty-six pin connectors (white, black, and blue).
Fault memory is non-volatile; codes remain in memory after the ignition is switched "Off" and can be read/cleared using the DIS.
