A. M50 (VANOS) DME EPROM REPROGRAMMING TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE

Control modules should no longer be replaced for the primary purpose of completing the Service Action. The information provided should help in obtaining a determination and update the DME program.





1. If the information is displayed on the MoDiC screen during the "Automatic" determination phase, follow the steps as indicated.





2. If any of the following occurs after or during the programming phase, follow the steps as indicated.
