Component Substitute Measure
EMERGENCY OPERATION CONTROLIn the case of failure of sensors, substitute values are made available which enable continued yet restricted engine operation. Further engine operation is no longer possible if the engine speed sensor (Crankshaft Position Sensor) fails.
