Control Unit (DME)

DME Control Unit:

1. Extract and record all fault codes.
2. If possible, run the engine until normal operating temperature is attained.
3. Switch the ignition "OFF".
4. Open the glove box.
5. Pull off the pins of both retain straps.
6. Unscrew the plastic trim panel.
7. Release the control unit connector lock.
8. Unscrew the four mounting screws and remove the DME control unit.
9. Check the manufacture code and production date for proper match.
10. Reinstall the control unit in reverse manner and check the engine performance.
