Complaint D:
Control Module cannot be diagnosed.

Cause D:
The following causes are possible:





^ The power supply for the EWS II Control Module (KI. 30, KI. 31), for the Send/Receive (S/E) Module (KI. R, KI. 31 and/or the diagnosis lead (Pin 2) is interrupted.

^ The EWS II Control Module has an internal fault.

Correction D:

1. Check the EWS II Control Module power supply and diagnosis connection and repair if necessary.

2. Make sure that other control modules can be diagnosed. If not, repair the diagnostic link as necessary.

3. If the above-mentioned connections are OK, replace the EWS II Control Module.

4. Code the EWS II Control Module.

5. Perform the EWS II DME alignment.
