5. Adjusting Central Locking Actuator on Trunk Lid

In case of complaints that the Central Locking System is activated when the trunk lid is slammed, the actuator in the trunk lid must be adjusted.


Procedure:

1. Open the trunk and turn the key to the mechanically locked (horizontal) position. Remove the key.

2. Loosen the fastening screws on the actuator.

3. Push the actuator toward the lock mechanism until the free play in the linkage is eliminated.

4. Hold the actuator in position and tighten screws.
