Replacing Heater Controls (Without IHKA)

Removing/Installing Heater Controls (Heating or A/C Control)







Sedan, coupe, convertible
Remove clock with frame or Multi Information Display
Pry out lower shelf and place to one side.







Pull off control knobs.







Remove screws and pry off front panel.







Push back and guide heater controls in downwards direction.
Remove connector. Unclip shaft and Bowden cable (only heating).







Compact
Remove clock.
Press out switch for rear windscreen heating. Pull off control knobs.







Unfasten screws.







Pry off front plate.







Unclip Bowden cables with special tool 64 1 120 and disconnect.
Pull off blower switch connector and take out heater controls.
