Spark Plug: Service and Repair

Remove and Install
1. Remove the spark plug access cover.

Spark Plug Wire Location:





2. With the supplied BMW spark plug connector extractor pull out the spark plug connectors.





3. Remove the spark plugs using BMW special tool or equivalent.
4. Reinstall in the reverse manner.

NOTE: The BMW spark plug socket automatically torques the spark plugs to specification. If BMW special tools are not available torque the spark plugs to 23 ft. lbs.
