Removing and Installing or Replacing Trunk Lid Lock and Support Bracket







Unfastening partially trim panel from trunk lid,


Remove rod.

Installation:
Install rod tension-free, readjust if necessary.

Check operation with trunk lid open.







Only convertible:
Unplug plug-in connection (micro-switch).







Release screws and remove trunk lid lock.







touring:
Remove connector from micro-switch (luggage compartment light).







Release screws and remove locking bracket.

Installation:
Adjusting trunk lid lock,







Only convertible:

Installation:
Check soft top operation.

Trunk lid closed, folding top mechanism enabled.
Trunk lid open, folding top mechanism disabled.
