Replacing, Outside Mirror Housing

Replacing Left or Right Outside Mirror Housing

Remove mirror glass,







Tilt mirror forward.
Squeeze retainers together using pointed pliers and remove cover.


NOTE: If the mirror housing does not have visible retainers, break out the marked openings at corresponding positions in the "housing frame" (1).







Installation:
Seal mirror housing to mirror base joint in area (A) with Sikaflex 221.







Fold mirror back.
Remove screws (1) and "small cap".







Fold mirror forward again as far as possible.
Remove screws (2) and "mirror frame".
Assemble mirror in reverse sequence.

Installation:
Check function.
