System Pressure Monitor

The operating pressure of the hydraulic unit is also monitored for the correct operation of the recharging function. A third signal is produced by the pressure sensor which signals the control unit if the pressure in the operating circuit drops below 80 bar (±15 bar).

This sensor produces a high/low voltage signal that switches from "high" to "low" when the pressure drops below 80 bar. This signals the control unit that the charge pressure signal/circuit has faulted and the ASC+T system is then switched off.
