Solenoid Valves (ASC/5 & Teves)

HYDRAULIC UNIT SOLENOID VALVES - TWO WAY TEVES - BOSCH ASC/5 - DSC





Activation of the solenoid valves in the hydraulic unit is an output function of the control module. Up to twelve solenoids can be installed in the hydraulic unit depending on model year and system. Depending on the system, the solenoid valves in the hydraulic unit consist of:

^ Inlet solenoid valves
^ Outlet solenoid valves
^ Intake solenoid valve
^ Switching solenoid valve
^ Separator solenoid valve
^ Change over solenoid valves
^ Preload solenoid valves

The solenoids are supplied 12 volts operating power from the solenoid relay and during traction control regulation, the control module provides the switched ground to activate the solenoid.
