Rotational Rate (Yaw) Sensor

The Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) control module supplies the rotation rate sensor with 12 volts operating power and ground. Additionally the DSC continually checks the operation of the rotation rate sensor by sending a test signal over a dedicated lead. The rotation rate sensor calculates the value from the test signal and sends a signal back the DSC module. If this feedback is out of the plausibility range, the DSC will set a fault and switch the DSC control off.
